Project Location:
The Walnut Village Specific Plan area is located in northeast portion of the City of Fontana. It is bounded on the north by the 210 Freeway, on the east by Palmetto Avenue, on the south by Baseline Avenue, and on the west by Sierra Avenue.
Project Description:
The Walnut Village specific planned community is an internally oriented community. Its project site is comprised of approximately 342 acres with the following mixed uses:
- Residential
- Commercial
- Mixed-Use
- Quasi-public
- Recreation
The original Walnut Village Specific Plan was adopted in 1981 and later went through several amendments. In 2024, the Walnut Village Specific Plan was rescinded and readopted. The new specific plan and environmental impact report is linked below:
